3 Bedroom House in Farwell
The lake house is set on Five Lakes with a covered porch looking out from the trees. The lake is sandy until about knee deep and then gets a little mushy (no beach) with a dock and deck. It is set on a hill so the views are great but it does have stairs and slope to walk down to get to the lake. There is a large deck down next to the water. In June it can be weedy between the edge and deep water so we usually take the kayaks or paddle boards out to swim and play in the water. By July the weeds are mostly gone. It is just minutes from US 127 and an hour north of Lansing. The main floor has a spacious updated kitchen, dining room, large living room with lots of windows, bedroom and full bath. Upstairs has a 2nd bedroom with a double bed and an attic room with two double bed mattresses. The walkout downstairs basement has the 3rd bedroom with a double and twin bed. Another twin bed is in an alcove and there is the second a bathroom with a shower downstairs. There is no central air conditioning but there is a small window air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom.
