Summary: Instructions for self check-in were great. However, we stayed there three nights and never met or even saw the owners. Our biggest complaint is there was no hand rail/banister for the last six steps going up to the room. I have limited mobility issues, so rely on having support for getting up and down the stairs. The place is located within a residential neighborhood and doesn't provide breakfast. It was about a 5-6 minute drive to eating places, which was easy enough to do. However, anyone who wants to walk to get a meal will need to walk at least a mile to find a restaurant (we highly recommend Wickers' World located on the Harbour for breakfast or lunch). It does have a refrigerator for guests to use, but there is no place in the room or common area inside or out to eat your own food. The bathroom is very small, which is understandable, given the size of available space. It would benefit from having a shelf for holding shampoo, soap, etc. in the shower (other places have detachable racks, so it doesn't require drilling into the wall of the shower structure). The toilet doesn't have a lid, so any towels, clothes, etc. have to be placed on the floor while showering. The bed was very comfy and there was plenty of room to park.
