Casa Starfish recently underwent a substantial remodel in which the kitchen, as well as all three bathrooms, were completely updated, from top to bottom, to offer nothing but first class amenities throughout. In addition, the entire flooring system throughout the home is new, including a fantastic contemporary stacked stone wall which lines the primary living area entertainment wall (equipped with a 55" LED High Definition Television). Casa Starfish is a one level, single family home, which offers vacation guests a wonderful open floor plan with slightly over 2,500 square feet of living space. From the moment you enter this first class luxury vacation home, you are greeted with windows and french glass doors which offer unobstructed views of the exceptionally private heated pool and covered lounge deck area.
Situated less than four blocks from the beach in the picturesque, seaside, community of Terra Mar Island in Lauderdale by the Sea, Casa Starfish offers vacation guests three exceptional beach options -- the first option would be to simply lock the front door and walk to the beach from the home. There is a direct beach portal entrance off Ocean Boulevard (A1A). Should you prefer to spend a day at the beach in which you have restrooms and dining options, the main beach portals in both Lauderdale by the Sea and Pompano Beach are less than one and one half miles from Casa Starfish. In the case of Lauderdale by the Sea, there are a multitude of first class dining options (Aruba Beach Café, The Village Grille, 101 Ocean, Burger Fi, Kilwin's Ice Cream, etc.) and the main beach portal (where Commercial Boulevard meets the ocean) offers the legendary Anglin's Fishing & Observation Pier (open 24 hours a day). The main beach portal in Pompano Beach (where Atlantic Boulevard meets the ocean) has recently undergone a complete renovation (the end result is simply stunning) and offers beachgoers all new restrooms, a children's beachfront playground, including a spectacular children's water fountain play area, a beachfront exercise fitness area, cabana rentals and lifeguard towers. In addition, the Pompano Beach Fishing & Observation Pier is open to the general public and offers a spectacular setting to enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
Pool heating is available all year round, however, it is an optional extra which is payable in addition to the cost of your reservation. Prices are $35 per day plus tax. Pool heating may not be necessary for your vacation, especially if you're visiting Florida in the hot summer months. If you need any pool heating it is likely to be in the winter and early spring months when daytime temperatures are cooler.You can add pool heating to your booking by calling our office to order it 24 hours prior to your arrival. If you opt to have no pool heating but you change your mind while on vacation, we can arrange for your pool heating to be turned on however please be aware electric heaters can take up to 24 hours to heat up. The maximum temp to prevent algae from forming in the pool is 87 degrees.Note as this can not be ordered through the message thread.
