John and Ellen have been welcoming guests for over 11 years and know exactly what makes a stay feel truly special. Every room is professionally cleaned before your arrival. Our beds are fitted with memory foam mattresses, mattress toppers, and memory foam pillows — and guests say so in their reviews: more than a few have written that they slept better here than they do at home. A welcome snack basket awaits inside. WiFi that typically delivers around 550 Mbps — fast for video calls, streaming, and remote work — and a fully equipped kitchen with a dedicated coffee corner (Keurig machine and all the supplies) make it easy to work remotely if you need to, or completely unplug if you don't. And if you need anything at all, expect a response within minutes.

Casa del Tren is Spanish for "Train House" — a name that tells you something about Safety Harbor's history as an old Florida railroad town. One quiet end of our yard borders the railway. A train does pass by occasionally — typically 6 to 8 cars, gone in under a minute. You might stay for days and never hear one.
