Welcome to the Cedar Downs Cabin located in the beautiful Clay Banks area of Door County. This cozy cabin is located across a private road from Lake Michigan and offers an indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and unlimited firewood. We offer an enormous deck, gas grill, yard games and fire pit while being nestled so privately amongst our giant cedar trees. You can take in as much or as little of all the Door County activities as you like.

Located between beautiful Door County and the up and coming charming town of Algoma, Cedar Downs Cabin is truly is the perfect place to escape from it all.
There is private water view access with this cabin, easily accessible by a short 2 minute walk, which allows for you to set-up chairs, blankets or simply relax on the grassy area overlooking Lake Michigan.
In addition, located close by is Algoma Beach (10 min. south) and Braunsdorf Beach, located in Robert LaSalle County Park just a half mile north of Cedar Downs Cabin.

Sturgeon Bay and the greater Door County, offer many Artist Collectives (The Pearl, Lightbox, ReClaimed & Co). You can check out a play at Sturgeon Bay's newly renovated theater (Third Avenue Playhouse | T.A.P) or go enjoy a show at the one-of-a-kind Peninsula Players Theater or under the stars at Northern Sky Theater. Door County is full of wonderful places to shop, galleries to peruse, wineries to stop and sip and top notch restaurants that start in Sturgeon Bay (CRATE) and go all the way to the tip of the county.
Sturgeon Bay offers multiple sand beaches (Otumba and Sunset park), Potawatomi State Park or any of the Door County Land Trust properties are a perfect way to take in the beauty of Door County. We have two YMCA locations for those looking to get their workout in, use the indoor lap pool or children's indoor playroom/pool for those unfortunate rainy days.
Algoma offers a sprawling large sand beach, an arts district (Steele Street), an established winery, (Von Stiehl) a great Brewery (Ahnnapee Brewery), a true Wisconsin supper club (Hotel Stebbins) and an amazing high end restaurant (Son Of Skaliwags) not to mention all the brick and mortar businesses (we LOVE Yardstick Books) dotting the streets of the downtown; all without the crowds.
You'll have complete access to this home during your escape to Door County.
