Positive: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. My problem is more with bookings.com. My mother inlaw is suffering from cancer, we were hoping she would join us. Unfortunately she was too ill.. We had my father with us too who has dementia... I had the name null (not Paula Angelina Wolmarans) on my booking... they struggled to find my booking on the computer... I asked for 2 rooms next to one another... the front desk was accommodating by moving us to the same floor.. atleast.... I could not cancel the room with pool view which was for my mother inlaw who was ill because I had to give the room up and then get hold of bookings.com to get a refund..... well...if you've ever tried to get hold of bookings.com from a different continent..(or at home) its almost impossible.... Overall the hotel was accommodating, clean and friendly.... its not their fault we're old and had very loud children in the pool.... if bookings.com does not improve on their contact and communication skills or apps.... I will be booking flights, stays etc with another hospitality app. Feedback from my point of view. Kind regards, Paula Angelina Wolmarans

Negative: It would have been nice to offer to give up the most expensive room because we could have shared the 1 room with 2 queens because of our sick mother inlaw. They could have offered free breakfast and parking and I would have been happy to share the room with my father who has dementia.... I was told you would cancel the one room. I would still pay and fight with bookings.com.... I think the manager could have been more accommodating.... the front desk went to the office, he tried to help.... The hotel would have scored in the long run... We visit Florida 2 to 3 times a year from Amsterdam. My husband's mother lives in Florida. We plan to visit the Keys again. It was great. We were chatting to all the friends here about the hop on hop off trolley tram trip. How informative it is an how it stops at the hotel we were staying at..... we weren't even told that the tram stops there after we drove to Duval street and rushed our trip to pay $30 private parking.... we could have just stayed at the hotel for $15 parking for the day with no rush.... Anyway, you live and learn.... Thanks for your time... Best of 2026
