It's less than two blocks to the beach and a short walk to the city's spectacular new oceanfront promenade, new fishing pier, dive boats and dozens of shops and restaurants. This historic complex comprised Pompano's first resort cottages when the rest of the beach area was still pineapple fields. This restored 1940s King Studio cottage has a small, well-equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster (no dishwasher), king bed plus a sleeper sofa in living area, flat-screen TV, vaulted ceilings, dining area that seats four, small bathroom with shower (no tub) and a vanity area outside the bathroom with hairdryer. Before the double French door entry is a large, screened-in porch with tropical garden views, white wicker furniture including dining table that seats four and George Foreman electric grill for your exclusive use. Additional after-beach shower at back door. Includes free wi-fi, free parking, no resort fees, flat-screen cable TV, books, family games, linens, iron/board, cleaning tools, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, A/C, heat, one free parking space per unit in off-street parking in front of property.
For the comfort of future guests, no smoking is allowed inside the Cottages, but you may smoke on your private porch. Small dogs under 20 pounds - inquire/pet fee.
