HOUSE RULES:
We have wonderful neighbors, and we want to make sure our guests respect their privacy and our community. By booking our property you agree to follow our house rules.
1. NO PARTIES & NO GUESTS. Absolutely no parties and no guests that are not in your booking. If neighbors complain, your reservation will be cancelled immediately with no refund.
2. UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS. There is a penalty of $200 / person / day for any unauthorized guest staying at the property.
3. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy of 10 people.
4. QUIET HOURS are from 8:00 PM till 9:00 AM.
5. NO SMOKING & VAPING of any kind inside the house or in the pool area.
6. UNFENCED POOL. Please be advised that the pool is unfenced and may be unsuitable for children. Hosts are not responsible for any potential injuries on the property or in the pool. Children should be supervised at all times.
7. SENSITIVE PIPES. Do not flush excessive amount of toilet paper or wipes, paper towels, trash, etc as this may clog the main drain. The emergency plumber fee for unclogging the main drain may be applied.
8. A/V SURVEILLANCE. To ensure safety of our guests and protection of property, A/V surveillance is present at the house entrance only. There is no surveillance inside the house or in the pool area / backyard. Please be advised that the pool area has a motion detection sensor with lights (no camera).
9. WIFI. Do not turn off the WI-FI modem or router as this will disconnect any smart home devices.
POOL RULES:
While we make every effort to upkeep our pool, we would like to outline several important things to note for our guests:
1. POOL MAINTENANCE. The pool is being cleaned and vacuumed every Thursday by a 3rd party professional pool maintenance crew. The crew uses a side door and a maintenance visit usually takes ~15 minutes.
2. UNSCREENED POOL. Pool is unscreened (there is no lanai) and it is beyond our control whether any debris and / or insects get into the pool after the cleaning / vacuuming by our pool maintenance crew.
3. WATER LEVEL. During the warm weather some water may evaporate from the pool and bring down the water level below the skimmer, which may prevent it from capturing some of the debris / insects inside the catch tray.
4. SELF-SERVICE CLEANING KIT. We provide our guests with a self-service cleaning kit, which includes: (1) a pool net to remove any debris / insects, (2) a robotic pool vacuum & a hook to remove the vacuum from the pool once the cleaning is complete, and (3) a hose connected to water supply to add more water to the pool.
5. POOL VACUUM. Please use the robotic pool vacuum only if you are unable to remove debris using a pool net. If you need to use a robotic pool vacuum and are unsure of how it operates - please contact us for instructions.
NO REFUNDS DUE TO ACTS OF GOD:
Please be advised that there will be no refunds due to Acts of God, inclement weather or nature or anything that is beyond our control, including:
- Sightings of pests, insects, palmetto bugs, lizards, animals, etc. We conduct pest control on a regular basis; however, we cannot control Florida wildlife, which may occasionally get inside the house or pool.
- Outages of electricity, water / sewer, water heater, WI-FI, etc.
- Malfunctions of devices such as TV, modem & router, etc and / or anything that is beyond our control.
