The new owners of Dock Knocker at Purple Parrot are excited to offer a premium guest experience at Purple Parrot Resort Village. Renovation is now complete and include so many upgrades and improvements - new floors, fresh paint, updated bathrooms, updated kitchen, new appliances, new tv's, and more! New photos were just taken 3/11/25 to showcase the impressive new interior of this 2 story, cottage style retreat. This is a charming 3 bedroom / 2.5 bath vacation home with classic coastal architecture reminiscent of the upscale 30-A area.
This privately owned condo comfortably sleeps a family of up to 8 people including all adults and children. The bedrooms are all upstairs but there is a sleeper sofa available for 2 guests downstairs. The living room and dining room are welcoming and tastefully appointed. High speed wireless internet is free and there are new televisions in every room. The primary bedroom contains a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and walk out balcony. The second bedroom contains a queen size bed with a twin trundle, while the third bedroom offers a bunk with a Full sized bed over a Queen which will comfortably sleep 4 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for your getaway. If you don't feel like cooking or grilling out on vacation, don't worry! Purple Parrot is located close to several great local restaurants. Be sure to try some our "fresh from the Gulf" seafood while you are here. Enjoy even more restaurants, shopping opportunities and local attractions in nearby Downtown Pensacola and Orange Beach. If you enjoy "adventuring", you will be pleased to know that PKRM offers complimentary adventures to our guests. Enjoy free golf at Lost Key Golf Course, a dolphin cruise, a sunset cruise, deep sea fishing or admission to OWA Amusement Park. The gorgeous local waterways are a boater's paradise and all guest are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to get out on the water. There is one free excursion per day of the reservation, available through the Xplorie App. These excursions add real value to your vacation.
Float therapy, Soak Therapy, or both? If you prefer to hang out around the resort, you can enjoy some float therapy in the lagoon style pool, complete with waterfall. Soak in the heated indoor pool and hot tub to melt away the day. You won't have to miss exercising with a great fitness room and beach volleyball courts. Not unless you want to!
The Purple Parrot also has a much-loved, poolside Tiki Bar and offers refreshing drinks, cocktails and food. If you prefer your fun in the sun at the beach, the incomparable white sand beaches and gemstone-colored waters are a short 5 minute drive from the front gate to the Public Beach Access 1, home of one of the county's artificial snorkeling reefs. ( PKRM advises this attraction for extremely experienced snorkelers, divers and strong swimmers, only ) Gulf Islands National Seashore is just to the east of the public beach access and offers lifeguards, restroom facilities, a pavilion, grills and park rangers. Best of all, it offers 8 miles of pristine, undeveloped coastline on both the gulf and the intracoastal waterway. You might even see the Blue Angels fly over on a practice day, while hanging out on the beach.
