Our house is located 6 blocks from the streetcar and within walking distance to some of the best restaurants and bars in the city!
The space
Our classic new orleans home has high ceilings and lots of character. It is a shotgun which means that you will walk through each room to get to the others. There is a spacious living room, two bedrooms (two queen beds, sofa and an air mattress), kitchen, and small bath. The house also features hardwood floors and central air/heat.
Guest access
This space is half of a shotgun double and we reserve the other side for our personal use. The unit itself is completely independent. Guests will have access to the entire house as well as the shared backyard with the pool. Late check-outs/early check-ins are possible based upon availability. Just let us know what your travel plans are and we can coordinate your arrival.
Other things to note
You have access to the shared backyard and pool! Since this is a shotgun double, there is another unit with access to the back yard.
In addition, smoking may only be permitted outside.
There is a TV in the apartment but we do not have cable. There is a Roku that allows you to connect to Netflix and an antenna that picks up the basic channels.
Washer and Dryer are found in the unit.
We live along a busy medical corridor so it is common to hear an ambulance or two throughout day.
