Positive: Location was a few minutes from Deep Creek Lake and 15 minutes from Oakland MD. Nice flat yard with room to safely park my 23ft boat. Very little traffic driving by so peaceful day and night. Just around the corner from Swallow Falls State Park, one of the best natural wonders of the east coast. Nice sized kitchen and living room.

Negative: Vacasa management. I will never stay at a location managed by Vacasa again. So the house has a mouse problem. The house looked clean when we arrived but by the next morning we found droppings in the bathroom, living, kitchen and in the silverware drawer. The mice were even dragging the poison bait around that had been hidden. I told Vacasa about this and they did nothing. Thankfully we didn't plan on cooking anything in the kitchen. This is after when I first showed up I found a "Pass" was missing with the statement that if it's not returned a $100 fee will be charged. Vacasa had no idea what this pass was, I still have no idea what the pass is for. For a non-smoking house I found several cigarettes around the back porch and yard, and my wife says she could smell the house had been smoked in. Also found the outdoor furniture had burnt holes probably from cigarette burns. Also found plastic trash in the fire ring. Also only one roll of toilet paper, no spares shows how cheap management is. As far as cons in the house, the bedroom with the full size bed is so small you can't walk around it, while the bedroom with two twin beds is very spacious. The house is showing it's age since the floor in the hallway is soft and the kitchen floor is far from level. I would like to stay here again but not if it isn't maintained.

Summary: I will never stay at a location managed by Vacasa again.
