It’s ideal for golfers, with several local and links courses nearby (Kirriemuir, Forfar, Rosemount, and Montrose within 19 miles) and the championship course at Carnoustie (17 miles) within range. The picturesque coastal town of Broughty Ferry (24 miles), as well as the city of Dundee (29.5 miles), are only a drive away and have excellent shopping and leisure facilities, as well as many tourist attractions. This includes the Victoria and Albert Museum and RRS Discovery in Dundee. For nature enthusiasts, visit the nearby Montrose Basin Nature Reserve, the home of over 80,000 migratory birds, or Kingennie Fishings (17 miles), which has some of Scotland's most famous trout fishing pools.
