Welcome!
We are a small lodging business hosting four comfortable Pods near the shores of Lake Superior, close to the amenities offered by the towns of Washburn and Ashland. We love our wooded property and want to share it with you! We aim to offer guests a unique lodging experience that is comfortable and easily accessible, blending a taste of nature with some creature comforts.
We're located on Wedal Road in Washburn Wisconsin, on 30 acres of wooded private property. Were 8 miles from Ashland, 3 miles from Washburn, and 15 miles from Bayfield. Our neighbors on Wedal Road live nearby and share our appreciation of the benefits of acreage and quieter aspects of rural life.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW!
While the Pods are outfitted to be comfortable, they are in a rustic setting. There are no showers onsite, but options are available at nearby campgrounds and public beaches. The Pods do not have running water, but a gallon of spring water is provided in each for guest use.
No pets are allowed.
Our operation appeals to mature adults seeking a quieter lodging experience. Please don't come here to party in the woods.
When there are no burn restrictions mandated by the DNR or Bayfield County (and when fire danger is low) guests can enjoy the community fire pit and meet other guests. Firewood is available onsite for purchase. PLEASE use only the tinder and firewood provided - DO NOT USE THE FIRE PIT AS A TRASH RECEPTACLE.
At the end of a day exploring the area (including our woods!) enjoy sitting on the deck of a Pod, listening to the wind in the trees, gazing up at the stars you may even hear our resident wildlife nearby, including owls and coyotes, and of course the symphony of birds in the morning.
